WHY CHOOSE LAMBDA THETA PHI?
Lambda
Theta Phi was born to promote the spirit of brotherhood, to
protect the rights of Latino students in his/her quest for
an education, to promote the rich Latino culture, and to maximize
leadership potentials to provide guidance to our community.
Membership is open to all males, regardless of race, culture
or creed. Lambda Theta Phi looks for men of vision, who can
assist in our mission to accomplish the goals set forth by
our founders.
Lambda
Theta Phi, as an organization, is two fold. On one hand, we
are a service organization. As such, we perform community
service, educational workshops, mentor programs, fund raisers
for charities, and much more. Lambda Theta Phi is also a social
organization. We hold functions such as talent shows, weekend
retreats, parties, and various other activities.
WHAT
IS AN INFORMATION SESSION?
Lambda
Theta Phi actively recruits new members both informally and
formally. These sessions are held throughout the year and
provide an opportunity for interested students to meet with
brothers and to learn more about the fraternity.
Visit
our Informational
Session page to get the latest updates on scheduled meetings.
Our
fraternity is sensitive to the commitments of university students
and is willing to work with students that can not attend or
participate in the schedules events.

A
LITTLE ABOUT OUR INDUCTION PROCESS
The
Lambda Theta Phi process is unique, educational and spiritually
uplifting.
Lambda
Theta Phi determines its need of an induction process on different
levels. New members or inductees begin the pledge period according
to a defined schedule. When an inductee begins our induction
process, it is time spent learning the history of Lambda Theta
Phi, devoting time to studies, community service and becoming
acquainted with the brotherhood and its traditions. The inductee
will finish pledging once it is determined that he has completed
the process. After being initiated into the Fraternity, the
learning process continues. Each member is expected to attend
formal meetings and be active in all fraternity functions.
We expect members to exert a positive attitude in all aspects
of life as well as a positive image in our communities.
We
encourage all males to look into our organization not solely
as a future prospect, but as someone who simply wants to get
involved, have a stronger voice at their respective school
and in their own community. The bottom line is we create leaders.
