3D Laser Scanning

For the first benchmark, students were asked to scan small objects using the Cyberware Model 15 laser scanner. Originally I was going to scan a small replica of 2008 Beijing Olympic Games mascot, Jing Jing. However, because most of the surface was black and reflective, the scan would be difficult. Therefore, I used one of the objects available in class: a small bunny. Using the "Scanning Protocol" tutorial provided by Caley M. Orr, I was able to scan the object and open it in Geomagic.
