Bob Svob worked at ASU for 45 years. Arriving in 1931, he worked
as a gardener for 10 years. Sheep were grazing where buildings later stood. Later
he became supervisor of maintenance and landscaping, then foreman of grounds
construction (plant and land care). Gardens of flowers were planted for the
students to pick.
