2005-2006 Sifth Annual New Music Competition for Solo Performance, Chamber Ensemble, and Composition

The Society of Composers, Inc. Student Chapter at ASU sponsors an annual competition for solo performance, chamber ensemble, and composition.

First, second, and third place awards are presented in each of the three categories and the first and second place winner of each category performs on the Winners Concert.

Congratulations to the 2004 winners!
Solo Performance:
1st place: Katayoon Hodjita, flute
2nd place: Steven Yarbro, alto saxaphone
3rd place: Christine Yoshikawa, piano

Composition:
1st place: Patrick Schulz
2nd place: Andrew Lehman
