Do you have questions about starting, governing, managing
or operating a nonprofit organization?
Our specialists have helped numerous nonprofit organizations
and individuals with many issues... from getting started,
to funding, to taxes, and more.
Your questions are fielded by Bob Duea,
Professional in Residence. Pat Lewis, Sr.
Professional in Residence, is also available to respond. Pat
and Bob work with a team that includes Center faculty and
staff, its Advisory Council, and nonprofit professionals.
Patricia F. Lewis,
ACFRE, has over 35 years experience in the nonprofit sector
and is the immediate past President and Chief Executive
Officer of the National Society of Fund Raising Executives
(NSFRE) in Alexandria, Virginia. She is currently a faculty
associate for the ASU Lodestar Center and is also an adjunct
faculty member of George Mason University in Virginia.
Robert E. Duea has over 30 years experience
in senior management and governance. Most recently he served
as president and chief executive officer of Lutheran Social
Services of Wisconsin and Upper Michigan (LSS) for 18 years.
That nonprofit had a budget of $85 million and 2,500 staff.
He has served as Interim President of two national nonprofits
assisting them through leadership transition. He is a member
for the Executive Select Consultant Group for the Alliance
for Children and Families. He continues to serve as a member
of the consultation team for Lutheran Services in America.
