ASU's Veterans Services Office

    The Veterans Services Office at Arizona State University (ASU) is primarily responsible for administration of veterans educational benefits programs, including student counseling, fiscal management and reporting to the federal government. In addition, the Veterans Services Office provides resource information to students regarding jobs, housing, emergency loans and other needs. We encourage veterans attending ASU to contact our office in person or by phone with any questions they may have pertaining to their education, or any of their VA Educational Benefits.

    Using the latest technology available, the Veterans Services Office processes claims electronically to the Regional Processing Center in Muskogee, Oklahoma for payment of benefits.

Who We Serve

• Students who were on active duty and contributed to the "Montgomery G.I. Bill"
• Active Duty Personnel attending ASU and using the "Montgomery G.I. Bill"
• Members of the active Reserve and/or National Guard
• Disabled veterans retraining through VA Vocational Rehabilitation & Education program
• Eligible dependents of 100% disabled or deceased veterans

Tuition Deferments

    The State of Arizona allows veterans who receive VA Education Benefits to defer (interest free) the payment of tuition, fees, and all necessary textbooks and supplies. This deferment is issued only for the first semester the student applies for educational benefits at ASU.
