Sally Doyle
Sally Doyle teaches English as a Second Language to adults. She also teaches Creative Writing in psychiatric hospitals and in one Senior Center. She lives with her husband in San Francisco.
Working Notes, Sally Doyle:
Often in my past the door was shut and I was making a closed-off language. My shepherding pieces come from my desire for moving to be natural rather than foreign in my life. I walk and listen to the voices inside of me and the voices around me. I narrate as I walk. My writing is more listening than it has been before.
