One year I went to perform in Long Bay Correction centre. One of the prisoners gave me a very unusual painting. I have put it on my wall to remind me of everything I would rather forget. He said that the painting was about environmental disaster and the building was a factory with a chimney. But for me it tells a different story. It is a painting of a prison with a watchtower from which prisoners are pinned into position.
