The author also details the costs involved for such items as cement,carpentry, iron, and paint. All types of animals are discussed from pigeons, deer, and horned animals. After three sections on agriculture, the work deals with five different types of gardens, namely kitchen gardens, fruit gardens, flower gardens, ornamental gardens, and herb gardens. The work has numerous plates with illustrations of a variety of topics, such as tools, planting techniques, and table settings. The fifth and final section includes a wide variety of recipes. The work concludes with an index to which hand notes have been added to include additional headings.
