This is a contemporary reprint of Hans Weiditz' beautiful illustrations. Originals are seen in PAT-105. Weiditz was ahead of his time in his understanding of botanical needs, as demonstrated by his watercolors where he would surround plants with separaate details picturing leaves, petals, seeds, and other identifying features necessary to the botanist.
