Dr. Jack E. Daniels. Prior to his tenure as president at Lincoln Land Community College in Springfield, Illinois, Dr. Daniels served as president of Central College in the Houston Community College System, Houston, Texas, from 1998 through November, 2002. From 1995 to 1998 he served as vice president of Academic Affairs at Grossmont College in El Cajón, California and from 1988 to 1995, served as director of Educational Development and assistant dean of Applied Arts and Sciences at Peralta Community College in Oakland, California. From 1981 to 1987, he served in leadership positions first at Miami-Dade Community College, Miami, Florida, and then at Contra Costa College, San Pablo, California.
