[an error occurred while processing this directive]Dynamic speakers and presentations are sought for the ECURE 2005 conference, an international, interdisciplinary and interactive event taking place February 28-March 2 at Arizona State University. ECURE is the only North American conference for wide-ranging discussion of the full spectrum of issues impacting academic electronic records today and tomorrow.
ECURE 2005 will again focus on technical, policy and training issues related to electronic records of university research. Research projects, policy reviews and case studies on management of data sets, research documentation requirements, public accessibility, institutional repositories, and electronic publication are sought for this year's conference. Technical topics may include but are not limited to: metadata and cataloging, storage, migration, security, e-mail, portal sites, disaster planning and recovery/business continuity, system security and data integrity, multimedia retention and digital preservation costs. Proposals will now be accepted through December 1st, 2004.
ECURE is attended by college and university administrators, information professionals, attorneys and faculty from across the United States and Canada. ECURE 2005 will be held on the beautiful Arizona State University Main Campus at Tempe, Arizona in the Phoenix metropolitan area.
