  • Requestors can request records in electronic format

  • Allows for agencies to provide access to records online

KY has very strong open records law

Agencies are not required to reformat paper into electronic, but if they maintain records in electronic format they may be required to produce them in electronic format.

An EMPOWER initiative, encourage agencies to put more information online for people to search on their own. Can charge for the convenience.
