• Administrates the state library

• Handles cataloging services for the dept.

Field Services

• Provides assistance to all Public Libraries across the state – 120 counties

Public Records

• Headed by the State Archivist – Richard Belding (since mid-late 1980's)

• Public Records Division = 60 employees

• 5 Branches
