• Formed 2002

• Representatives from KDLA, COT, and the Offices of the Attorney General and Auditor of Public Accounts

• Develops suggested policies, guidelines, and recommendations for addressing electronic records issues.

Continues the 20+ year of dialog on electronic records issues.

• KISK, KIRM, Empower

Designed to be small and manageable.

Focuses on the major issues in recordkeeping: Historical, IT, Legal, Fiscal

Serves as an Advisory Committee recommending to other groups for action.

Gives us more expose in state government

• Opportunity to address the CIO Advisory Council, Web Standards Committee, Architecture & Standards

• Able to address the Gov. Executive Cabinet

• By attaching our guidelines to the Architecture Standards, more IT will see it.
