Bio

Dr. Timothy Sanford is Assistant Provost at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. Sanford has been at UNC-Chapel Hill since 1976 with most of that time spent as Director of the Office of Institutional Research. He became involved in records management in the early 1990’s when UNC received a large grant from NHPRC to start its records management program, and he was appointed to the University Records Committee. In 1994 Dr. Sanford became Chair of that Committee, and he continues in that role today with the Records Management Program reporting to him.
