ALCOHOL- AFFECTS YOUR MOTOR SKILLS, JUDGMENT, AND SELF CONTROL What is alcoholism? Alcoholism varies upon each person, but it is: Abuse Craving Loss of control Physical dependence A higher tolerance Alcoholics in the Mexican community are mostly seen as males in the family. The males will serve the position of ˇ°machismoˇ± which is to be considered the way a man should be: tough, provider, and does not show his sensitive side. However alcohol is at almost every occasion or celebration for the Mexican community. To abuse alcohol, the reasons vary: celebration, relationship problems, poverty, and depression. The consequences for abusing alcohol are: impaired judgment, dependency and the law enforced. . |
