New for Spring 2012 : Immediately after regular office hours on Thursday evening 6 - 7PM, I will have virtual (online) Ochem office hours 7 - 8PM. Online office hours are open to all students. It is impossible to beat facebook as an easy to use interactive forum that students like, which is why I included it n the course webpage this semester. However, I can't draw structures in facebook, and I have to answer all questions in text form, which is difficult for organic structures. Also, I don't have the time to hangout on facebook all day like some of you do :D So, I am going to experiment with an alternative regularly scheduled online office hour this semester that uses Adobe Connect. The advantage of Adobe Connect is that I can use it to draw structures and talk to you in real time, without any typing (my typing is as bad as my writing!). The disadvantage is that you may have to install a plug-in to make it work properly, although there are iPad and iPhone apps.
