Rapid Prototyping

To prepare for Rapid Prototyping, I first took one of the face objects I created for my final project.  This model, created from 5 seperate point clouds derived from photogrammetry, was then carefully connected by creating seams.  While this was enough for my final project, it was not enough for Rapid Prototyping, as the bottom of the head was still open.  Also, if this is to become a solid free standing object, that base would need to be flat as well.  The next step was to take it into 3ds Max, in which I created a simple box, and did a boolean subtraction from the head, giving it a perfectly flat surface.  From there, it was as simple as taking it back into geomagic, filling the last remaining base hole, and making the object close manifold.
