3d Modeling
This face was developed in 3ds Max and Mudbox. For it I used photographs of people for reference, placing them in the viewports so that my mesh could match it exactly. Then I began modeling, beginning with a single polygon face and extruding along the face, until I eventually had a basic mesh. Then after some modifications to the geometry through cuts, the model has a meshsmooth modifier applied to it. The model was then exported to Mudbox, in which it was subdivided several times. From there I sculpted the object with push and pull methods and then brought it back into 3ds Max. I then threw some spheres in for eyeballs and was set. Above is the smoothed model, below is the wireframe.
