COLOR (ART 113)
(This is a sample list. Your instructor may require different materials)
Materials
1 pack squares of Color-aid or chroma-rama paper per 6 people in the class (should be 10-12$ each person)
Metal straight edge (12-18")
#11 Ex-acto knife and blades
Graphite pencils (2B and 4H minimum)
Pencil sharpener
1 technical ink pen--sizes .25 - .5 will do. Disposable pens are fine.
Masking tape
Protractor with degrees
Watercolor brushes (synthetic white sable- approx. $16.00)
White palette or mixing trays.
Cold pressed illustration board, 15 x 20" (available at art stores, pre-cut, 2 to package)
Large water container. No glass please.
Portfolio for carrying 2-D work (17 x 22 min.) and a box for materials.
Small jar rubber cement (rubber cement thinner is helpful too)
Golden or liquitex professional grade acrylics 2-4 oz.
Brush cleaner or mild soap.
Three ring notebook with 8 1/2 x 11" "biology" paper for notes, thumbnail sketches, collages.
