IDM UNIT VII Web Authoring   GOAL To explore and harness the potential of the web as an environment for art and design. DISCUSSION Web authoring applications enable the user to develop a Web site in a desktop publishing format. The software generates the required HTML (hypertext markup language)coding for the layout of the Web pages based on what the user designs.
