Ross-Blakley Hall

Ross-Blakley Hall became the home of the Department of English and the Institute for Humanities Research in 2017. Formerly the law library, the building housed law collections and served the ASU College of Law until their relocation to the ASU Downtown campus in 2016. Designed by the firm Scogin Elam and Bray and built by the architectural firm Leo A. Daly Company, the building has received numerous honors, including the Arizona Chapter of the Arizona Institute of Architects' 1994 Honor Design Award. Built in 1993, Ross-Blakley Hall is named in memory of two prominent Phoenix attorneys, John J. Ross and William C. Blakley, who graduated from the ASU College of Law in 1971.
