Y.F. Wu Asian American and Pacific Islander Student Scholarship

The Y.F. Wu Asian American and Pacific Islander Student Scholarship recognizes outstanding APA individuals who demonstrate academic excellence combined with leadership and service.

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Minimum 3.0 GPA (on a 4.0 scale) for high school or university applicants
  • Preference will be given to students who have taken Asian Pacific American Studies (APAS) courses, but lack of APAS courses does not preclude receiving a scholarship
  • Demonstration of strong leadership in co-curricular activities and community service
  • Full-time, undergraduate student (minimum 12 credits per semester)
  • Enrolled at ASU Tempe, Polytechnic, West and/or Downtown Phoenix campus for the 2008-2009 academic year
  • Preference to Arizona residents, but open to all U.S. citizens/residents
  • Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid by March 1 indicating ASU as an enrollment choic
