Associate in Transfer Partnership Degree (ATP)The Associate in Transfer Partnership degree (ATP) is an associate degree offered by an Arizona public community college based on a transfer articulation agreement with Arizona State University (ASU). It is for students who have identified a major and plan to transfer to ASU. It parallels the program of study for the Freshman and Sophomore lower division degree requirements at ASU. ASU/MCCCD AllianceThe ASU/MCCCD Alliance is a transfer program that assists students who wish to complete an associate degree or transfer block at one of the Maricopa Community Colleges and transfer to ASU to complete a bachelor’s degree. The Alliance provides a seamless transition for Maricopa students by dedicated academic advising, and specially tailored events to help students understand more about their degree programs and how to transfer to ASU. For more information, visit http://www.maricopa.edu/alliance ASU Polytechnic/CGCC Partnership in Baccalaureate EducationThe ASU/Chandler-Gilbert Community College (CGCC) co-enrollment partnership provides students a baccalaureate education at the Williams Campus in Mesa. The partnership allows students to take a combination of courses at ASU and CGCC, and graduate in four years with a bachelor's degree from ASU. ASU and CGCC together provide advising, tutoring, library services and a computing center, as well as residence life, shared student life activities and recreation. Students complete the two-year Dynamic Learning Teacher Education Program at South Mountain Community College and transfer to the Initial Teacher Certification Program at ASU. Students are placed in a cohort of about 30-40 with whom they stay for the majority of their classes and conduct internships in area schools as part of their curriculum. Students are offered mentoring, professional growth seminars, and scholarship and loan opportunities. Students agree to maintain a steady enrollment toward the completion of their goals and upon degree completion, to work as teachers for at least three years in their sponsoring districts.
