    1. Courses in bold print have prerequisites which must also be met.
    2. All courses must be completed with a grade of "C" or higher in order to transfer.
    3. The course evaluation as listed in the Course Equivalency Guide (CEG) is valid for the academic year in which the student satisfactorily completes the course.
    4. A course evaluation may be subject to changes in subsequent issues of the Course Equivalency Guide (CEG) due to changes in the university or community college curriculum. Thus, prior to registering for any community college course, students must always check the CEG to identify the current equivalency of the courses they are planning to take.

    ATP NOTES

    1. Acceptable math courses are MAT 172, 251, 260, 270 or higher.

    2. Through Fall 2005, MAT 251 will transfer as full credit. Spring 2006 and beyond, only 3 credits will transfer, with one credit non-transferable.

    3. All three awareness areas are required. A course CAN satisfy TWO awareness areas simultaneously. The third or fourth semester of a second language (except Latin, Greek, or sign language) satisfies the Global Awareness [G] requirement.

    4. Second language proficiency requires knowledge of a second language at the intermediate level (course must transfer to ASU at the 202 level or above). Completion of a course that transfers to ASU as equivalent to SHS202, American Sign Language IV, will also fulfill this requirement.

    5. Major Related Courses meet the following criteria: a) They satisfy General Studies AND b) They transfer as either Departmental Electives or Direct Equivalencies to courses in the following departments: ASB, ASM, BIO, GCU, HPS, PHI, SOC. It is possible to select courses that also concurrently satisfy General Studies [HU], [SG], [SQ] and awareness areas ([C], [G] and [H]).

    6. Credit range depends on the number of courses a student takes that double dip (meets General Studies requirement and required major course) as well as if Second Language proficiency is demonstrated.

    7. Psychology Electives are courses that transfer to ASU as Departmental Elective Credit [DEC(PGS) OR DEC(PSY)].
