    1. Courses in bold print have prerequisites which must also be met.
    2. All courses must be completed with a grade of "C" or higher in order to transfer.
    3. The course evaluation as listed in the Course Equivalency Guide (CEG) is valid for the academic year in which the student satisfactorily completes the course.
    4. A course evaluation may be subject to changes in subsequent issues of the CEG due to changes in the university or community college curriculum. Thus, prior to registering for any community college course, students must always check the CEG to identify the current equivalency of the courses they are planning to take.

    ATP NOTES

    1. BIO201, BIO202, and PHY111 have MCCCD prerequisites which are not required for the ATP program. If the prerequisites have not been taken, students must obtain permission of the instructor to take these courses.
    2. Courses that transfer as E (Elective) do not satisfy CLAS Distribution Requirements at ASU. These should not be taken to complete an ATP. Six credit hours taken in THREE awareness areas are required. All three awareness requirements must be met, and one course may satisfy two awareness requirements simultaneously.
    3. Second language proficiency requires knowledge of one second language (foreign or sign) equivalent to the completion of a second language course at the intermediate level (course must transfer to ASU-Main at 202 level or above). Eight credits of a language are to be taken at MCCCD as part of the required 60-64 credit hours. These eight credits may be at the beginning (100) or intermediate (200) level. If they are taken at the 100 level, it is recommended that the other eight 200 level second language credits needed are taken at ASU to meet the second language proficiency requirement. Second language courses taken at the intermediate or 200 level also meet the global awareness [G] requirements.
