Faculty Cross-Talks

Intellectual diversity is the hallmark of higher education. Once a semester, the IRC Faculty Cross-Talks represent a vehicle for encouraging cross-disciplinary connections, inclusive of dissemination of ideas, germination of collaborative projects, and the promotion of collegiality among faculty from different disciplines.

Comprised of an individual or paired faculty presentations over lunch, Faculty Cross-Talks build campus community and foster trans-disciplinary connections.

Participants enjoy a free lunch along with scintillating presentations and conversations with faculty from a wide range of departments. They have the opportunity to add a new perspective to their own research/teaching paradigms.

The target audience is faculty. For individual presentations, the expectation is that the audience will be primarily ‘other-discipline‘ members; for joint presentations, the audience will be mixed. Do you have any suggestions for our Faculty Cross Talks? Contact us.
