Student wage increases
Beginning Dec. 29, 2008, ASU will increase the Student Worker I wage to $7.25/hour, which is the new State of Arizona minimum wage that takes effect Jan. 1, 2009. The Student Worker II rate also will increase to $7.60/hour at the same time. Read more
These adjustments, which the university believes are vital to respond to changes in the local economy, will be implemented through a centralized automated process. Students and other non-student employees already earning more than the new beginning wages will not be affected.
