Automatic Termination Process
DEFINITIONS

A position that recurs during high (or peak) work
or volume needs typically associated with
an established work schedule (can be either
full or part time, as defined above); assignment
will be of a short duration (not to exceed five
consecutive months) and occurs during
the same time periods from year to year;
may be employed as either full or part time
during the period in which they are required.
PRN
A position established to provide additional staff

rate in recognition of the highly variable nature

Beginning Nov. 12, 2008, the Data Management group will begin a monthly process to automatically terminate job records inactive for four months or more, or those jobs with a zero compensation rate. Going forward, the process then will run at the end of each month. Seasonal jobs, on-call jobs (PRN) and students paid by stipend will not be automatically terminated by this process.
