These two conferences are being held back-to-back at

Camp Balcones Springs Executive Conference Center, Marble Falls, Texas
In the "Hill Country," Just outside Austin

Use this form to pay the registration fee for the Curriculum & Pedagogy Conference and to arrange for lodging, meals, and transportation for BOTH the C & P conference
and the ABER Conference.

HOWEVER, those who are attending the ABER Conference must pay the
conference registration fee directly to ABER (see address below) .

Hampton Inn—830-798-1895 (transportation available between hotel and conference site every two – three hours)--$69 (plus tax) per night for single, double, or triple. Ask for the conference rates.

If you are staying off site, there is daily meal/facility fee of $50 per day. There are no discounts for meals skipped or late arrivals. (One exception: Participants staying off site DO NOT have to pay the $50 fee for their first day if they arrive after dinner).

**Your conference registration and rooms will not be confirmed until the deposit is received. The deposit includes the registration fee (#1) and the cost of the first night of accommodation (#2).

ABER participants must send the first room fee (#2) or the first day conference fee (#3) to Kris Sloan in order to insure rooms/participation in the conference. Make checks payable to "Curriculum and Pedagogy Group." These payments are nonrefundable. Final payment is due upon arrival (Cash or checks only, and no post-dated checks).

Please note:

Rooms will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Therefore, to assure you receive your first choice in accommodations, early registration is encouraged. The Hampton Inn has ample rooms of all configurations.
Because of the Curriculum and Pedagogy Conference that immediately precedes ABER, there will be an overlap of conference attendees on Friday and Saturday evenings.
If you are attending ABER only and prefer to stay at Camp Balcones Springs, the earlier you submit your lodging request, the better. Rooms are limited at Camp Balcones Springs; if at the time you submit your lodging request, all the rooms are booked for Friday and Saturday evenings, you will be referred to the Hampton Inn for those evenings and will be able to move to Camp Balcones Springs for Sunday and Monday evenings.

Transportation Needs:

The registration fees include transportation to and from Austin-Bergstrom International Airport for Curriculum & Pedagogy participants. (ABER participants will have to pay a fee of about $15 each way for airport transportation.) To help coordinate shuttles, we request that you notify us the time, airline, and flight number of your arrival and departure.
