The Sun Devil Drill Team is a new, fun, energetic, spirited group of ASU girls supporting our school. With sharp routines, bold color effects, flashy ripples and marching, we are unlike any other typical pep squad. Originally brought to Arizona State the fall of 2005 by captain Dani Conwell, we have worked hard through numerous auditions, fundraisers, and scheduling to be able to now show school spirit at ASU games and other sporting events.
Our inaugural year we began small, but continued to grow and tripled in size since then! We hold auditions throughout the year in order to recruit new members to better our performances.
In the past the Sun Devil Drill Team has participated in the ASU Homecoming parade in 2005 and 2006, half time during ASU Women’s basketball games, ASU gymnastics meet, Tempe Halloween Carnival 2006, Sun Devil Express 2007, and the ASU Talent Show. We have also been invited to perform at various company events.
