The Pre-Dental Society at ASU is a pre-professional organization dedicated to bringing together students interested in the profession of dentistry and exposing them to the many aspects of the career. This is done through presentations from guest speakers from various areas of dentistry, dental-related volunteer opportunities such as oral health awareness in local elementary schools, and occasional trips to dental schools. In addition, the organization offers its members assistance in gaining admittance into dental school through presentations of the dental application process and inviting admissions personal from various schools to ASU to speak. Finally, the organization offers a unique opportunity to network with students with similar interests and career goals. As a group, the organization hosts a variety of socials during the year and getting to know one's fellow pre-dental peers is highly encouraged.
