Monthly Meeting May 31, 2000 

Meetings of the CCC will be held on the fourth
Wednesday of the month from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. 
in the Computer Commons Auditorium, room 120.

This meeting will be held next Wednesday, May 31, 2000 
(10:00 AM - 11:30 AM Computing Commons Auditorium CCC 120).
 
The agenda will be:
 
Lee Rogers demonstrating some administration utilities he has found 
useful several tools to help monitor the state of his servers and 
security on the network.  These tools include Big Brother, Syslog, 
NTSyslog, Snort, and a home-grown IDS tool.
 
If anyone else has some administration tools they would like to 
present, I am sure we will have time for you to present them.  Please 
let me know if you would like to present.
 
The June meeting will be June 28, 2000 and Dr. Bill Lewis is 
tentatively scheduled to present his State of IT at ASU address.  If 
you have questions you would like Dr. Lewis to answer, please email 
your questions to me and I will forward them to him.
