Support Future Generations of Sun Devils
Since the 1960s, the ASU Alumni Association has awarded scholarships to deserving students at ASU. Alumni support for scholarships is a vital component in meeting the university’s “access” mission. The Association’s signature scholarship initiative is the Medallion Scholarship program, which provides financial support for four years to in-state students.

Financial support for the Medallion Scholarship comes through individual donations or through a portion of fees paid to the state of Arizona for the purchase of Sparky license plates. Vehicle owners with a Sparky plate – ASU’s collegiate license plate issued by the state MVD – pay $25 annually for their plates. Seventeen dollars of the fee is given to the Association in support of the Medallion scholarship program. Plates can be purchased at www.servicearizona.com.
